Privacy Policy
Last updated June 13, 2026
StreamerVerdict is a personal, non-commercial side project built and run by an individual — not a company. This page explains the small amount of data the site touches and what is (and isn’t) done with it. It is written in plain language, not legalese.
What we collect
You can browse StreamerVerdict without an account, and without giving up anything personal. The only data collected is:
Account details — if you sign in with Google or Twitch, those providers share your name, email address, and avatar so the site can create an account for you. Nothing more.
Your preferences — the streamers you follow and personalization settings, saved to your account so they sync across your devices.
Basic usage data — standard server logs and aggregate, anonymous page-view counts that help keep the site running. No invasive tracking, fingerprinting, or third-party ad networks.
What we don't do
The site does not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or run third-party advertising trackers. There is no business model here — it’s a hobby project.
Services we rely on
StreamerVerdict is built on a few third-party services that process data on its behalf: Convex (database and backend), Vercel (hosting), and Google and Twitch (sign-in). Game artwork and metadata come from IGDB, and review data is derived from publicly available YouTube videos. Each of those services handles data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
A single session cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your data and your choices
You can sign out at any time. If you’d like your account and stored preferences deleted, email derekxinzhewang@gmail.comand it’ll be taken care of.
Children
StreamerVerdict isn’t directed at children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated occasionally. When it changes, the “last updated” date at the top will change too.
