Ale & Tale Tavern

Our analysis

The tavern simulation core is the highlight, getting the cooking, serving, and upgrading loop largely right alongside a fun gardening element, and the four-player co-op can be genuinely enjoyable. Everything beyond the tavern drags it down, however: a poor open world with tedious quests, badly written stories, laughably bad combat, and numerous co-op bugs, leaving it a one-trick pony that earns a middling thumb.
