A fun roguelike strategy game that nails the Battlestar Galactica feel, with real-time combat softened by tactical pause, deep fleet management and resource min-maxing, a Cylon-traitor investigation mechanic, and plenty of content across four or five unlockable fleets plus new lore-friendly ships. Drawbacks include a cramped UI that hides key info, a poorly explained favor system and weak tutorial, and awkward gating on buying new weapons. At around $20 it is worth it, especially for fans of the show, roguelikes, or space strategy.
Our analysis
A really good FTL-style roguelike that captures the essence of Battlestar Galactica, putting you in command of a fleet juggling crisis events, faction politics, Cylon infiltrators, and resource gathering between hectic, outnumbered last-second-jump battles. Carry-forward perks and upgrades give strong replay value, though it gets repetitive as recurring situations resurface and difficulty ramps up the deeper you go. At 20 pounds it is definitely worth a buy, especially for series fans and RTS players.

A visually gorgeous real-time strategy roguelite with engaging space battles and good accessibility for non-fans, but the fleet management complexity is overwhelming and the RNG-driven progression feels unfair without adequate tutorials.

A well-designed roguelite strategy game with excellent mechanics and systems that brings Battlestar Galactica to life, though it lacks the character development focus of the show.
