Battletoads

A couch co-op beat-em-up with tongue-in-cheek humor and solid combat mechanics, but hampered by drab early levels and lack of online multiplayer. Improves significantly after the first hour with excellent combo systems.

Good time with shining minigames and vibrant art but undermined by chaotic combat and local co-op only.

Variety through turbo bike/platforming/space combat with fluid visuals; pacing issues and anti-climactic finale.

Entertaining little romp with solid beat-em-up combat and surprising secondary gameplay variety. Blend of game types feels unbalanced at times and isn't always the laugh riot it tries to be.
