BeamNG.drive is judged not worth a buy in its current early access state. The much-hyped soft-body physics engine underwhelms, with crash damage feeling like flimsy tin rather than convincing metal, and keyboard or Xbox controller handling is sloppy and unrealistic. The biggest frustration is the lack of built-in steering wheel and pedal support in a driving simulator, forcing players to rely on community scripts.
