A highly recommended remaster of an ambitious classic, offering significant visual upgrades with real-time lighting, improved character models and textures, better reflections, and a remastered soundtrack, plus an outstanding anniversary gallery documenting the game's development. The Switch version runs at a mostly solid 30fps, though particle-heavy combat can drop to around 20fps and water exhibits a shimmer issue. At a low price with timeless gameplay, it's an easy recommendation.
