A solid, charming top-down adventure that leans heavily on the classic 8- and 16-bit Zelda formula while adding a delightful framing device of a grandfather telling the tale to his grandchildren. The well-designed dungeons with satisfying puzzles are the standout, backed by crisp pixel-art visuals and good music, though some homages border on lifts. Its only real flaws are overly heavy-handed objective signposting and limited replay value, but it is easily worth the price.
