Our analysis
An excellent episodic, choice-driven detective mystery following retired lawman Eliot Ness drawn into a dark case of kidnapping, blood sacrifice, and moneyed corruption. The striking black-and-white art with selective splashes of color, phenomenal music, and standout voice work create a gritty, True Detective-style atmosphere, while the investigation system and instinctual pacing outshine genre peers. A tricky camera and unusually cramped, small locations are minor drawbacks against otherwise outstanding storytelling.
Our analysis
Highly polished, and fans of Telltale-style games may enjoy it, but Mack didn't like Episode 1 and gives it a thumbs down: not worth a buy for him.
