Our analysis

A charming, breezy Jet Set Radio throwback whose pure traversal skating is genuinely fun once you crack the corner-and-manual combo system that lets you chain endless tricks. The retro style and tragic-90s vibe land well, though the combat is a complete wash, the police and rival gangs are underdeveloped, and the repetitive soundtrack wears thin. Despite the rough edges, it ends up an enjoyable game.

Our analysis

A superb spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio from Team Reptile, combining unique art, fast-paced graffiti action, multiple transport methods and an infectious soundtrack. Movement and tricks control exceptionally well, with rewarding crew battles, clever boss fights and a surprising amount of content to revisit. Navigation is the main weak point, hampered by an unhelpful map, no fast travel to base and a fiddly taxi system.
