Bubble Bobble 4 Friends

Our analysis

A charming but overly safe revamp of the classic arcade platformer, bundling the new 50-level campaign with the original 1986 game and four-player local co-op. The familiar bubble-trapping gameplay is enjoyable and the co-op is a highlight, but the levels are too easy and only get creative late, the bedroom theming barely affects the stages, and looping music grows tiresome. Hugely overpriced, making it hard to recommend until a sale.
