Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

Franchise embarrassment that failed as Black Ops 2 spiritual successor. Worst reviewed and worst selling COD since 2008. Poor campaign, no innovation, corporate mediocrity.

Fundamentally broken across all modes. Campaign plagued by repetitive boss battles and poor AI earns a 1/10. Endgame Avalon mode is empty and grindy. Multiplayer suffers from broken spawns, bad hit registration, and one-sided matches. Only Zombies mode is somewhat playable but held back by convoluted Easter egg system.

IGN says Ashes of the Damned is a good map when it works but too big, Easter egg hunt too long, matchmade experience miserable. Core design still strong but the paid gobble gums feel bad in a map this difficult. A shambling corpse reminiscent of what zombies used to be.

A bold, experimental campaign that innovates on the CoD formula with creative co-op mechanics and surreal gameplay, but forces online co-op and offers a poor solo experience. Worth playing if embracing the co-op design, but frustrating for traditional single-player fans.
