A surprisingly solid budget dinosaur-hunting simulation with strong dinosaur textures, good landscapes, and a satisfying mix of weapon and tracking upgrades. The slow, deliberate stalking of prey across large levels stays engaging thanks to weak spots that reward careful, skilled shots. Guns lack low-end punch and it gets a bit arcadey, but it is an absolute blast for fans of the genre.

Mack calls Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn a disappointing sequel with weak animations, clipping, stock sounds and no co-op. Newcomers might grab it on sale, but he says it is not worth the buy.
