Our analysis

A mid-tier Metroidvania that plays it safe, drawing heavily on the GBA Castlevania and Symphony of the Night template. It suffers a brutally slow start with little healing and limited combat abilities, but becomes far more rewarding once geared up in its stronger second half. The procedurally assembled map ultimately adds little, leaving the sense that a hand-crafted static map would have served better.
