A fun roguelike crime-syndicate shooter with enjoyable gunfights, heists, turf grabs and permanent perks between runs. An always-on x-ray view of boss lieutenants and bullet-sponge enemies at higher levels hurt it, but he is having a blast and calls it worth a buy.

Crime Boss: Rockay City fails at gunplay, level design, voice acting and storytelling. Its missions have little depth, the AI teammates are failures, and a death restarts the whole campaign. Co-op doesn't save it, and it is not worth buying even on sale.
