Our analysis

A beautiful, deeply personal pseudo-autobiographical game about football, Ecuador, and community, set during the country's 2001 World Cup qualification run. Its evocative scanned-photo art style, exceptional sound work, and toying with form make it special, layering one creator's idealized childhood memories over the real ones. Brief at barely two hours, but the impact of its reflection on memory and the creative act lingers.
