Yahtzee gives Supermassive Games their best-yet effort with Directive 8020 — grown-up cast, coherent enclosed spaceship setting, less geographic confusion, more honest-to-goodness gameplay than usual. Still riddled with mandatory stealth sections, but he enjoyed it more than The Quarry. Cautious hope, not full endorsement.

The Supermassive formula applied to a mashup of Alien and The Thing shows promise in the latter half with tense moments and narrative twists, but a dull spaceship setting, bland characters despite strong voice acting, and simplistic gameplay ultimately leave the experience underwhelming.
