A pleasant surprise that plays less like a true metroidvania and more like a fluid, graceful parkour platformer, with incredibly well-designed movement that grows more satisfying as new skills unlock. Presentation is top notch: masterfully delivered cutscenes, a world full of life with smooth area transitions, and an outstanding orchestrated score, plus flexible accessibility and one-to-four-player co-op. The fast-travel and mapping system is the weakest part, and the launch price feels a touch high for the experience.
