A gloriously crazy, over-the-top platformer that actually works despite being built around the bongo controller. Its genius Tony Hawk-style combo system uses your score as a health bar, and the frantic, physical gameplay is exhausting in the best way. Though a commercial failure, its ideas and mechanics went on to power the studio's later Super Mario Galaxy era, making it a beloved and influential entry.
