Our analysis

A solid 2D Metroidvania with superb art direction and a unique, rhythm-game-like precision combat where a slash attack launches you toward targets, making traversal and clearing rooms feel invigorating. Expanding powers push creative use of skills through hazards and bosses, and there's plenty to explore over roughly an 8-hour run. It lacks quality-of-life polish, though, with map bugs, occasional progression-blocking glitches, unclear pathing, and tedious difficulty spikes if you skip cooldown and damage upgrades; the demanding mouse-driven controls also won't suit everyone.
