Our analysis

A deep, atmospheric 2D action RPG in the classic Gothic mold, praised for meaningful quests, genuine player choice, a humbling start-weak progression, and a great dynamic soundtrack across distinct regions. The launch build was rough, but a patch transformed it into a relatively stable, compelling 40-hour adventure. Combat feels clunky and unrefined early on and some performance hitches remain, yet it's a strongly recommended labor of love for genre fans.
