Our analysis
A spiritual successor to Suikoden with ambitious scope and excellent character writing, but significant performance issues, excessive loading times, and archaic design philosophies hold back the experience on Switch.
Our analysis
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes offers enjoyable traditional JRPG combat, a large recruitable cast and a fantastic soundtrack. On Switch, poor performance, slow menus and crashes undermine the experience, so the reviewer cannot recommend it until patched.
Our analysis
A spiritual successor to the Suikoden series that successfully blends classic JRPG elements with modern game design. Creator praised the massive character roster, engaging battle system, excellent music and voice acting, and compelling story.
