Our analysis

A disappointing post-apocalyptic colony builder that strips away the fun of the first game, removing combat and reducing expeditions to a tedious mouse-over loot hunt. Driveable vehicles, trade routes, and multiple colonies are genuine improvements, but the shrunken build areas and dumbed-down management leave it feeling like a soulless spreadsheet with no sense of actually running a colony. Boring and in need of major work.
