An objectively excellent and ambitious open-world racer, with game-changing seasons that transform the UK map, a dynamic weather and day-night system, 450 cars, deep customization, and an absurd wealth of multiplayer options that run beautifully. Racing fans will be delighted. However, the wide-open structure offers little sense of guided progression, and an aggressive monetization model that docks credits without the VIP pass sours the experience for non-racing fans.

A standout entry that nails the blend of sim and arcade racing across a large, varied British countryside map. The headline feature is the dynamic four-season system, which dramatically changes the look and feel of the world and is praised as worth experiencing even for non-racing fans. Less cringy presentation, addictive progression, hundreds of cars, and fun showcase races round it out; only the weekly online season rotation drew a minor complaint.

Called one of the most comprehensive and polished racing games ever made, set in a gorgeous British countryside with masterfully implemented seasons that add unprecedented variety. The driving is exceptionally well-balanced, track design has great flow, and exploration, showcase events, and over 400 cars keep it rich. Online play suffers from too many empty matchmaking options and a lack of penalties for aggressive driving, plus occasional technical hitches.
