Front Mission 2: Remake

A faithful remake of the 1997 tactical RPG that preserves the original's deep mech (wanza) customization, branching story with a large cast, and satisfying grid-based combat where targeting specific body parts immobilizes enemies. The big win is dramatically improved load times and a renewed soundtrack, but it deliberately keeps the original's lack of quality-of-life touches, with no movement/range preview, small text, and minor translation roughness. Fans of the first game won't be disappointed, just don't expect modern conveniences.
