Grandia HD Collection

Our analysis

A wonderful throwback bundling two classic JRPGs whose stories and standout turn-based combat hold up two decades later. The strategic action-bar battle system is the highlight, while the upscaled visuals and audio are a mixed bag and no real quality-of-life additions were made. The asking price feels steep for only two of the franchise's games, so it is best picked up on sale.
