Our analysis

One of Devolver's stronger recent releases, an enjoyable action platformer built around a clever gun-umbrella that shoots, floats, dashes, and parries projectiles, used intrinsically throughout the levels rather than as a gimmick. It offers more story, side quests, meaningful choices, and weapon upgrades than expected, with a grainy Mad Max-meets-steampunk pixel style, fitting understated audio, and smooth ~60fps performance. Minor gripes include fiddly aiming when repositioning, a bare-bones quest log, and no d-pad control option.
