Guns of Fury

A surprisingly fresh Metroidvania that blends fast, satisfying four-direction run-and-gun shooting with destructible environments, mech segments, and a steady stream of new weapons and vehicles to stop the action going stale. The world looks great, controls are responsive with low input latency, and the synth-heavy soundtrack nails the '90s action vibe. It leans easy thanks to unlimited mid-fight consumables and navigation isn't the smoothest, but it's excellent value and a lot of fun.
