Half-Life 2: Episode Two

More of the same excellent Half-Life formula, with high-standard visual design and pacing leading to an explosive finale of hunter chases and Strider battles. It suffers from middle-child syndrome though: noticeably short, with no real beginning or end, a meandering story that feels like killing time, recycled set pieces, and a new character introduced jarringly late. If you loved Half-Life 2 and its episodes, this delivers more of what you enjoy.
