Hellboy: Web of Wyrd

Our analysis

A striking-looking roguelite beat-em-up with comic-art flair and a stop-motion aesthetic, but let down by almost every other aspect. The confusing lore-dependent story, dull environments, repetitive structure, and enemies that all share the same easily-learned attack tells make combat unchallenging, while technical issues including a softlock at the finale cap a disappointing experience that even strong voice talent can't rescue.
