Our analysis

Mack calls Homefront: The Revolution a disappointment: a sloppy PC port with awful aiming, broken key bindings, poor performance and a 60 FOV cap, plus terrible AI, a rancid story and dumbed-down combat. Not worth anywhere near its full price.

Our analysis

Genuinely well-designed gameplay with good level design fatally undermined by racist characterization, unlikeable resistance members, and voiceless protagonist that render the narrative a disaster.

Potential but too many flaws. Rushed, poorly optimized. Weapon upgrades and open-world liberation mechanics. Choppy performance and buggy AI break immersion.

    Our analysis

An open-world FPS the creator regretted buying at launch due to game-breaking bugs that made it unplayable. After patches and replaying years later, the game became functional and the weapon customization mechanics proved solid, though the initial experience was severely disappointing.
