A streamlined Zelda-like that improves on its predecessor in nearly every way and earns a perfect score. The four-item system enables tight, clever puzzle design, the move to 3D and the fully open structure deliver an exhilarating sense of freedom, and the ramped-up combat is far more fun. Drawbacks include oppressive difficulty spikes, constantly respawning enemy hordes, and puzzles that feel slightly scaled back, but its expert, fast-paced craftsmanship makes it a must-buy for fans of exploration and puzzles.
