Colorful first-person platforming adventure with unique creature design and strong art direction.
Our analysis
A cute, clever, well-made six-hour adventure that lands closer to a Banjo-Kazooie-style collectathon platformer than the Subnautica-style survival game its visuals suggest. Its strengths are a genuinely funny late-capitalist comic tone, an endearing AI companion, and a strong, wondrous opening act; its weaknesses are samey floating-island biomes, an over-reliance on map markers, collection fatigue, and shallow, repetitive combat after the first act. Good rather than great, and best enjoyed in co-op.
Our analysis
A genuinely fun platforming exploration-adventure where you scan and survey an alien planet, with the gameplay opening up dramatically once you craft the advanced grappling hook and start chaining traversal across the terrain. Reaching perilous spots in search of rare gems delivers real tension and euphoria, though combat boils down to shooting glowy weak points and gets too easy once fully kitted out. PC co-op is plagued by bugs that force frequent restarts but never break progress, so it remains a thoroughly enjoyable single-player and co-op experience.
Our analysis
Charming exploration game with excellent humor and handcrafted design, marred by frame rate drops below target 30fps.
Our analysis
Upbeat lighthearted adventure with prevalent satirical humor and vivid colors.

Yahtzee: doesn't take enough from inspirations to stand out; lacks wonder and elegance.
