Our analysis

A surprisingly long and rewarding point-and-click adventure carried by a genuinely interesting, well-paced story of family betrayal and mental illness. Inventory and location puzzles are handled intelligently and intuitively, environmental sound is excellent, and most voice work lands well, though the music is hit-and-miss and a few oddly comical tracks fall flat. Comfortable rather than thrilling, but it delivers its mystery confidently and is well worth buying for fans of the genre.
