WatchOur analysis
Kessen is a visually impressive RTS with excellent cutscenes and voice acting that prioritizes cinematic storytelling over engaging gameplay. While the historical narrative and character performances are compelling, the clunky RTS mechanics, slow pacing, and excessive battle cutscenes undermine the core game experience.
