Delightful but unimpressive entry with fresh co-op mechanics. Steep learning curve early on.

A pretty, cutesy, and genuinely fun co-op game that is far better played with a friend than alone, with satisfying ability combinations and gorgeous visuals. However, it's extremely short at around six hours, gets repetitive quickly, and is the easiest game in ages with zero challenge — even the boss fights are trivial. Worth $60 only for dedicated Kirby fans; otherwise it feels closer to $40 of value.
