Our analysis

A clever third-person narrative adventure with three interwoven London-set stories carried by strong, detail-rich writing, likeable characters, and an excellent audio direction that shifts between British crime drama and supernatural tones. It falters in interactivity: choices feel largely inconsequential despite their timers, the gameplay is too linear and clunky, and the quick-time events and mundane filler tasks add little. Solid visuals with impressive lighting are undercut by clunky animations and a blurry, heavily anti-aliased presentation, and at its price the roughly six hours of content feels a touch too expensive.
