Legends of Runeterra

A pleasant surprise that thoroughly impresses across nearly every aspect — slower, deeper, and more mechanically complex than Hearthstone, with a reactive turn structure and excellent hero-centric deck-building drawn faithfully from League of Legends champions. Its standout strength is arguably the fairest, most generous free-to-play monetization in the genre, even capping how much money you can spend. The tutorials are unclear and it takes a couple of hours to click, but once it does there is a great deal to enjoy.
