Our analysis
An enjoyable but safe tactical RPG in the vein of classic Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre, with solid positional combat, less grinding than prior entries, and charming hand-drawn designs. The simplistic gameplay feels a little limited and the story's racism and immigration themes come across as heavy-handed and shoehorned, but the fair price and roughly 20-hour length make it worthwhile for series fans.
