An enchanting, thought-provoking high-fantasy RPG that stands as a culmination of Atlas's craft, pairing sublime turn-based combat and deeply interlocking systems with stylish presentation and a memorable score. The reframing of genre stereotypes and a gripping, if linear, story make it hard to beat. Drawbacks include long-windedness, repetitive labyrinthine dungeons, over-explaining, and an underused election concept that lacks real political bite.
