A delightful, surprisingly deep life-sim set on a cat-themed Japanese island, anchored by a coherent story, sharp witty writing, and a satisfying weekly loop of gathering, crafting, and selling at the titular night market. Generous design touches like an ever-expanding inventory and forgiving stamina make it relaxing and addictive. The main drawbacks are technical: long load times, frame-rate fluctuation, a suspected memory leak, and several bugs including disappearing inventory items and a music-stutter sound glitch.
