Our analysis
A faithful Switch port of the classic PS1 monster-breeding and turn-based battling RPGs that holds up well, with imaginatively designed monsters, satisfying training and breeding, and welcome quality-of-life touches like battle fast-forward. The combat takes some learning and the CD-summoning feature is replaced by a workable but less exciting database, while the visuals and clunky controls show their age. Good value as a double pack, though the price feels slightly steep.
