Our analysis
An enthusiastic thumbs-up for this tactical turn-based adventure, praised as more enjoyable than XCOM thanks to its real-time stealth approach to enemy camps before combat, deep and rewarding tactics, customizable weapons, and fun mutation perks. The adaptive music and cartoonish graphics build great atmosphere, and consequences for botched plans keep it tense and immersive. Perks suffer from too much character overlap and the story is only passable, but it is terrific fun and well worth buying at its sub-full price.
