Our analysis

A standout Sekiro-meets-Hollow Knight Metroidvania with a superb parry-and-talisman combat system that keeps you constantly on your toes, an excellent lore-rich narrative, and thriving, cleverly designed exploration set in a striking Taopunk world. The stunning art and soundtrack shine, and console balancing improvements plus difficulty options polish the experience; only the underused Jade build customization and a slightly inconsistent frame rate hold it back.
