Our analysis
A brilliant build-it creative set best understood as a glorified, more interactive puzzle rather than a video game. The cardboard quality is excellent, the instructions are clear, and each Toy-Con builds differently to stay fresh, with the responsive Switch integration repeatedly impressive. Highly recommended for those who enjoy building or for kids, but not for adults who dislike the construction aspect.

Scott praises Nintendo Labo's innovative construction mechanics and creative potential, particularly the toy con Garage's customization possibilities, but criticizes the associated games for being too shallow and the physical toy cons for taking up excessive storage space.
