Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition

Our analysis

A nihilistic action-platformer roguelite with deep, satisfying combat and clever ideas like rescued followers that passively boost currency, wrapped in a striking monochrome-with-red art style. It is very difficult but rewarding once it clicks, with semi-permanent progression softening the harsh death penalties. The deliberately obtuse presentation, especially the unexplained card power-up system, hard-to-read visuals, and occasional frame-rate drops, will frustrate many and hold it back from greatness.
