WatchOur analysis
A darkly comedic bouncer simulation in the vein of Papers, Please, following a road trip across a broken alternative America. The writing and quirky characters are engaging, and the purposefully chaotic mini-games layered onto the ID-checking shifts create genuine tension and urgency. The pixel visuals and varied soundtrack land well, and while the cutting political commentary won't suit everyone, fans of the original's core loop should add it to their radar.
