Our analysis

A nicely enrapturing Zelda-inspired action-adventure with gorgeous presentation, diverse environments, excellent voicework, and a clear grasp of the formula it imitates. Combat feels off due to flaky lock-on and near-useless AI partners, and a pervasive shallowness keeps the puzzles and systems from ever going deep. Decent and worth a look, ideally on sale.

Our analysis

An enjoyable but limited Zelda-style adventure, closer to a classic top-down Zelda than Breath of the Wild. The dungeons and puzzle segments are highlights and the music is excellent, but combat suffers from no proper lock-on, erratic enemy AI, no real jump, and unhelpful companions. At full price it feels too expensive, especially next to the cheaper Apple Arcade version, so it is best picked up on sale.
