Our analysis

A strong return to the co-op heist series that goes back to basics with a much greater emphasis on forgiving, varied stealth and the best gunplay the franchise has had. Mission design and environments shine, though only eight heists feels stingy, the story is forgettable, and launch server issues plus a lack of solo options hurt. It is more Payday done well, but the $40 price feels steep unless you have Game Pass.
