Our analysis

A retro-styled boomer shooter that looks and sounds old-school, with great, meaty gunplay, a strong Doom-inspired weapon arsenal, and neat, sometimes tricky level design. It falls short of true old-school feel, though, leaning on plentiful checkpoints instead of quicksave, adding reloading, iron sights, alt-fire modes, and leaderboards, plus a slow pace and limited enemy variety. Still in early access and recommended as a fun blast from the past, so worth a buy.

Scratches the boomer shooter itch with stellar level design and impressive sprite work, but falls short of eclipsing Doom as its predecessor.
