Our analysis

Not dreadful but certainly not great, and arguably not even a proper entry in the series since it abandons sim racing for full arcade. It looks worse than its predecessor, runs poorly in VR, has bad sound and weak force feedback, and the violent, cheating AI is the biggest letdown. There's a likable upgrade system, plenty of cars and tracks, and some genuine fun to be had, but at full price it's outclassed by Grid.
